How to record an outcome for an MDT review, cancel a review and add an ad-hoc review.

Record an MDT review outcome

Follow these steps to record the outcome of a completed review:

  1. Go to the All Reviews tab.

  2. Find the relevant patient review.

  3. Select Record outcome on the patient card.

  4. Complete all required outcome fields.

  5. (Optional) If a follow up is needed, book it directly from this screen.

Manage attendees

  • Scheduled attendees are pre-populated automatically

  • Update the list to reflect actual attendance:

    • Remove anyone who was absent.

    • Add any additional attendees.

  • Select Save Outcomes.

You’ll see a confirmation message once the outcome has been saved successfully

💡 Tip: The action buttons stay fixed at the bottom of the screen, so you can access them at any time while scrolling.


Cancel a review

If a review needs to be cancelled:

  1. Locate the review:

    • From the All Reviews tab, or

    • From the patient’s Review History.

  2. Select Record outcome.

  3. At the bottom of the panel, select Cancel Review.

  4. Confirm the cancellation in the pop up window.

The review will:

  • Be marked as Cancelled.

  • Appear in the patient’s Review History.


Create an ad hoc review

Use an ad hoc review when a review was not scheduled in advance.

  1. Go to the MDT Reviews page.

  2. Select Ad hoc review at the top of the page.

  3. Search for and select the relevant patient.

  4. Complete all required fields.

  5. Select Save ad hoc review.

The review will now appear:

  • In the patient’s Review History.

  • In the All Reviews tab.
