Overview
This article introduces the Rio Observation Management dashboard and explains how to navigate the main interface. It provides a high level view of each section so you can quickly understand where to find key features.
Rio Observations Management system overview
Access Rio Observation Management
Follow these steps to open Rio Observation Management for the first time:
Log in to Access Evo.
Open the Access menu.
Select Rio Observation Management from the Products list.
📌 Note: If you have previously accessed this feature, it will open automatically when you return.
Understand the dashboard
Once opened, the dashboard acts as your home screen and provides an overview of observation activity.
Key features include:
A real time view of observation activity across wards.
Performance indicators to monitor activity.
Alerts to highlight items requiring attention.
The ability to filter by ward for a more focused view.
Use the navigation menu
The main navigation menu is located on the left hand side of the screen.
You can expand or collapse the menu depending on your preference
Use it to switch between different areas of the system
Explore main sections
The dashboard is divided into four main areas:
Observations recording:
View and manage patient information and observation data.
MDT reviews:
Schedule, conduct, and record multi-disciplinary team (MDT) reviews for patients.
Forms:
Create and manage observation forms used across the system.
Settings:
Configure application preferences and system settings across four available tabs.
