How offline mode works
A persistent banner appears at the top of the screen when the app is running in offline mode.
This banner shows:
Offline status
The last successful sync time with Rio EPR.
Tap the banner to view a pop-up with more details about offline functionality.
What you can do offline
View patient and observation data for any inpatients on wards selected during the last successful sync with Rio.
⚠️Important: Be aware that any data viewed whilst offline may not reflect the latest changes.
Recording Observations offline
Observations recorded offline are:
Saved locally to the device's secure storage.
Displayed as a pending sync count on the home screen.
Syncing after reconnection
When internet connection is restored:
The app automatically trigger a data sync.
A confirmation banner will appear once the latest data has successfully synced.
